REACTION at “Projects to policy” seminar in Brussels

The Projects to Policy Seminar (PPS) is an annual event organized by the European Commission (specifically the European Research Executive Agency (REA) and DG HOME) to bridge the gap between civil security researchers and EU policymakers. The purpose is aligning newly launched Horizon Europe research projects with active EU security policies, ensuring research translates into practical, operational solutions for the agencies active in this field.

This year, on June 10-11, REACTION project attended the seminar in Brussels: the seminar turned out to be a valuable opportunity to follow discussions on how research and innovation can support policy development, knowledge exchange and real-world impact. The edition was operated under the umbrella of the Community for European Research and Innovation for Security (CERIS), which fosters ongoing dialogue across the European research landscape.

For REACTION, it was also a chance to get in touch with projects active in the field of food defense and food security and plan coordinated actions to raise awareness about these important topics.
